The new book Creative Tourism discusses current research and international best practice in the emerging field of creative tourism. It includes knowledge, insights, and reflections from both practitioners and researchers, it covers types of creative tourist, trends, designing and implementing creative tourism products, embedding activities in a community and place, and addressing sustainability challenges. Applying lessons learned from the CREATOUR project and other initiatives, the editors present key information in an actionable manner well suited to people who work in creative communities or work with them.

The event to celebrate the launch of this book will include talks from contributors on the themes of:

• Entrepreneurship

• Community Impacts

• Strengthening meaningful connections between research, practice, and/or policy

Day 1 (9th December) will include presenters from Portugal, Canada, United States and Finland.
