Biography of David E. Ambrose David E. Ambrose attended the Grenada Boys’ Secondary School (GBSS) from 1983 – 1988. After spending a year at the Grenada National College, he travelled to the United States to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Foreign Languages from Principia College, USA. He graduated from Principia in 1993. In 2005, he obtained a Master’s in Education – Curriculum and Instruction, from the University of Phoenix. Mr. Ambrose began his teaching career at the GBSS in 1994 where he taught Mathematics and Spanish. He resigned from the public service in 1998 to be part of a founding team to start The Meridian School of Grenada, a private all-age school. At Meridian, he taught several subjects including Mathematics, Spanish, French, Integrated Science, English Language and English Literature. He became Head of Meridian in 2005. In 2008, he left Meridian to take up a position as a Communication Studies Lecturer at the T. A. Marryshow Community College (TAMCC). He was also asked to teach Spanish, French and German. Mr. Ambrose continues as a lecturer of TAMCC today. He started to pen his first novel, White Spice in 2012, and completed it in 2015. Summary of White Spice The American government is putting pressure on Grenada to stop the transshipment of drugs through its territory and waters from South America to the United States. The Grenada government has declared war on drug trafficking, specifically cocaine trafficking.
